HL Construction is looking for full-time Carpenters (NOC 72310) to join our Calgary team!

Salary:
– CAD $28.85 to $30.85 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment:
– Full time Permanent

Education:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

– 3 years to less than 5 years

– Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
– Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
– Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
– Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
– Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
– Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
– Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
– Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
