  Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors

  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture

  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries

  • Respond to guest requests for additional supplies

  • Stock linen closets and supply areas

  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

  • Sanitize public areas, including changing rooms, showers, and elevators

  • Disinfect operating rooms and other medical facility areas

  • Collect debris and empty trash receptacles

  • Clean windows, walls, and ceilings

  • Report and store lost-and-found items

  • Provide basic information about the facility, if required

  •  

  • Assist in handling guest complaints, when necessary
