Kosoo Korean Chicken & BBQ located Vancouver downtown, is currently seeking qualified Head Chef.

Work location: 1128 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1B2
Position: Head Chef
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30~35 hours per week)
Wage: $37 per hour
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Requirement:
-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation including some supervisory experience as Chef
-Trade certificate or diploma
-English ability (able to communicate) is required
Main Job Duties:
– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
– Prepare and cook meals and specialty foods for events or special guests
– Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
– Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
– Supervise chefs and cooks
– Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
– Recruit and hire staff
